There is a steady stream of diaries about the economic crisis which while enlightening and thoughtful tend to miss the actual root of our current economic woes.
That root cause being the insanely inequitable wealth distribution that has not only been allowed, but encouraged by the policies of this country for the last 30+ years.
All the economic problems we face today have a common cause, The bank failures, the subprime collapse, the CDS collapse, the bubbles, the busts, all come down to one fundamental problem that unless addressed will only result in future problems of greater proportions.
There is too much wealth in too few hands.
